The Marriage Course

The Freedom In Christ Marriage Course is a powerful eight-week study to help marriages heal, grow and flourish in Christ. Written by Josh and Mandy Shaarda, it takes the truths at the heart of Freedom In Christ — who you are in Christ, the reality of the spiritual battle, and how to resolve what holds you back — and applies them to the relationship that shapes everything else.

It is made for couples to do together, whether your marriage is thriving, struggling, or somewhere in between. Churches can run it as a group course, or a couple can work through it at their own pace at home.

Every session has teaching videos from couples who have lived what they teach, questions to talk through together, and points to pause and think that you carry into the week.

The course ends with The Steps To Setting Your Marriage Free, a guided time of prayer a husband and wife walk through together.

What the course covers

The Marriage Course is eight sessions plus a retreat, taking the truths of Freedom In Christ into your marriage.

It closes with The Steps To Setting Your Marriage Free, a guided time of prayer and reflection for a couple to walk through together. Each session has teaching videos, a Key Verse and Key Truth, Celebration Questions to talk through, two points to Pause For Thought, and a Prayer Action Plan for the week, alongside the Participant's Guide.

How it works

  1. 1 Choose your plan and seats. A seat is for someone you invite — you are not one of them. Buy 5 seats and 6 people take part: you and 5 others. The more seats you buy, the less each one costs.
  2. 2 Invite your group by email. They follow the link, and each person who accepts takes up one seat. Your own access comes with the plan and never uses a seat.
  3. 3 Everyone watches at their own pace. Courses appear in their account straight away, on any device.

Billing and access

What you pay
One payment. This is not a subscription — nothing renews and your card is not charged again.
How long you have access
6 months from the day you buy. After that the courses close and you would need to buy again to carry on.
Seats
Seats are for the people you invite; your own access is included with the plan and does not use one, so 5 seats means you plus 5 others. Each person who accepts takes up a seat, and an invitation that has not been answered yet holds one until it is accepted or withdrawn. Seats can be added at any time, and the price per seat follows the bands on this page.
